Americold Announces Appointment of Andrea Darweesh as Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer


ATLANTA, Sept. 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Americold (www.americold.com), the global leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, announced today that Andrea Darweesh has joined the company as an Executive Vice President and its Chief Human Resources Officer.

Darweesh will lead Americold’s Human Resources department and continue its strategy to attract and retain the industry’s most effective individuals with rewarding careers.  In her role at Americold, Darweesh will be responsible for all human resource policy implementation, motivating company culture, talent management and succession planning, compensation development, employee relations, and mentoring the human resources organization.

Darweesh brings more than 20 years of executive-level human resources experience to Americold, having previously served in senior roles with Equifax, Nordstrom, and Coca Cola, and most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief HR Officer with The Weather Channel.
