This is a huge step in Waters’ solo career, as his last tour was about six years ago. Waters has to “fill his own tour shoes,” as “The Wall Live” tour was a mega success and sold 1.4 million tickets around the world.
On his website, Roger explains, "We are going to take a new show on the road; the content is very secret. It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.” He seems to be continuing the medium between Pink Floyd’s success with a strong fan base and his own, fresher originals. This meeting place, in combination with intense technological effects, will take the magic from “The Wall Live” Tour to “Us + Them.”
