The Greenwald Group Completes 14 Contemporary Single-Family Homes

Situated in Ideal Locations in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and South Miami

Aventura, Florida, UNITED STATES

MIAMI, Nov. 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Greenwald Group today announced the completion of 14 contemporary single-family homes in Miami-Dade’s most appealing residential neighborhoods.

“Today, there is a strong demand for modern, luxury single-family residences but a very limited number of suitable lots in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and South Miami,” said Allen Greenwald, president and founder of Development Group. “We have carefully selected the locations for these 14 new homes, and with their beautiful design, modern features, and attractive pricing, we expect them to sell quickly.”

Drawing on the Greenwald Group’s decades of experience in residential real estate development, the 14 new homes include state-of-the-art appliances, luxury furnishings, pools and balconies on two-story models. Homes are priced from $2.3 million.

To design the new homes, the Greenwald team partnered with The Gershon Group, Inc., a family-owned South Florida firm that has specialized in commercial and residential design for the past 60 years.  Designers Scott and Rory Gershon worked closely with Greenwald to create contemporary residences designed to today’s lifestyles.

“I enjoy building fabulous new homes and helping them come to life,” said Andi Greenwald, who is known for her passion for detail. No aspect of her development projects, from the sidewalk pavers to the bathroom sinks, to the custom window treatments escapes her attention.

Back in 1960, Allen R. Greenwald started his own real estate business, which evolved into the Greenwald Group. In the past two decades, his daughter Andi and son Scott have focused on real estate development, including condominium conversions, new condominium projects and single-family homes in a wide range of prices.  “Many things have changed through the years, but real estate is still all about location,” Allen said. “I am confident that buyers will recognize the fact that these 14 new homes are in all the right locations.”

Andi Greenwald’s development resume includes six South Beach projects, two Miami Design Preservation League awards for excellence in restoration, and a key to the City of Miami Beach. Her other current projects include Bali, an elegant restoration of two South Beach buildings into four deluxe longhouses, a 15,000-square-foot waterfront mansion on North Bay Road, and a beautiful new construction home on the Miami Beach Golf Course.

Both the Greenwald and Gershon families have long been actively involved in the South Florida community. For example, Andi Greenwald and Rory Gershon are dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs, working closely with friends, neighbors and the Humane Society of Greater Miami to find adoptive homes.

Six years ago, they were renovating an older property on Miami Beach, and took on the responsibility of feeding a cat that had been abandoned after the prior owners had passed away. They soon realized there was a large population of cats living in the neighborhood, and began feeding them, paying for spaying and neutering services, and getting them into new homes. Today, they continue to lead the neighborhood’s pet rescue efforts, saving hundreds of kittens, puppies and adult cats and dogs. As Greenwald said, “We are big advocates of educating people about proper care of their pets.”
