Katharine Holland was invited by the authors to include a bonus chapter as a guide to the classic Victorian architecture of San Francisco’s older buildings. Over the years, Holland has gathered a colorful collection of anecdotal and historical information, which she has shared with her clients. Her wealth of information is now part of this book in a chapter entitled The Secrets of San Francisco’s Victorian Architecture.
Her chapter, illustrated by well-known local artist Clay Seibert, offers educational and entertaining tales of the City:

Wanting to share those experiences, their labor of love began with researching sites, history and little-known insider tips about local explorations.
