Lewisville, Texas, July 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The STEM Academy, a ResponsiveEd® charter school, is in its final stage of construction and accepting applications. The school is open to local 6th through 12th graders who want to attend the new Lewisville STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) campus focused on classical values.

The STEM Academy is a 10 million dollar project built on more than four acres of property on Bennett Lane near Corporate Drive and I-35 in Lewisville. Doors will open on the first day of school, August 28 with plans to complete construction of the adjacent gym in early fall when a ribbon-cutting event will be scheduled.
