Matt Light Wants to Send You and a Friend to the Patriot's Season Opener!

The Light Foundation is raffling off three amazing prize packages for three lucky winners with incredible donation incentives for all participants—proceeds to benefit the Light Foundation and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Foxboro, Massachusetts, Sept. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Former New England Patriot Matt Light is raffling off an ultimate grand prize trip to the Patriot’s season opener to see the historical unveiling of the team’s 5th championship banner. One lucky winner and a friend will enjoy a pre-game dinner at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse where they can meet with the three-time Super Bowl Champion himself before heading to Energi’s VIP luxury suite to watch the game in style. Forget the post-game traffic, these ultimate grand prize winners will have a complimentary overnight stay in a double-occupancy hotel near the stadium.

The grand prize winner will receive four tickets to Matt’s annual Celebrity Shoot-Out at the world-class Addieville East Farm in Mapleville, Rhode Island. This fun-filled event allows guests to match their shooting skills against celebrity guests, enjoy lakeside fly-fishing or archery, live music, a fireworks show, and more. Even the runner-up gets lucky in this raffle with free tickets to regular season Patriots AND Red Sox games!

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit two incredible causes, the Light Foundation and Boston Children’s Hospital. This joint fundraiser stems from the close relationship the Lights have with the cardiology department after they provided life-saving care for their son, Collin.  At just 22 weeks gestation, Matt and Susie Light’s unborn son was diagnosed with a complex heart defect known as TGA. By the time Colin was ten days old, he had successfully tackled two open-heart surgeries. The Light’s credit 3D-echocardiography and the early diagnosis for saving Collin’s life. In 2005, the Light Foundation donated $25,000 to Dr. Gerald Marx, senior associate in Cardiology at Children’s, for his research in prenatal diagnosis using 3D-echocardiography.

“I’ve long been a fan of the Boston Children’s Hospital and the life-saving work they do there,” says Matt. “I’m very excited to have this opportunity to raise money for an incredible organization that remains so close to my heart.”

Even those without the greatest of luck have an incentive to donate towards the raffle. Donations between $200- $1,499.99 will receive a Rob Ninkovich signed mini helmet. Those who donate $1,500 or more will receive a Rob Ninkovich signed authentic jersey in addition to 1,500 raffle entries.

Raffle tickets can be purchased now at $10 per ticket or in bulk at a discounted rate at https://lighthouseraffle.org.  The drawing for the season opener will take place at 2:00 p.m. on September 5th The drawing for the foursome for the Matt Light Celebrity Shoot-Out foursome, and the other runner up prizes will take place on September 14th All winners will be notified via phone.
