PBMI Launches Updated Online Education Courses on Pharmacy Management

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) launched today its updated online education courses that focus on the essentials of pharmacy benefit management. The courses include introductory-level and advanced-level classes and were developed to help healthcare stakeholders learn about the ever-evolving pharmacy benefit landscape.

At the end of each class, registrants take a knowledge assessment, and upon passing, receive a certificate of completion.  Continuing education (CE) credit is available for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

  • PBM 204: Contract Pricing for Pharmacy Benefit Management Services
