SolarWinds Empowers IT Professionals with Enhanced Application-Centric Performance Management at Microsoft Ignite 2017

SolarWinds Head Geek and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), Thomas LaRock, to Host Two Interactive Sessions Focused on Database Management

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, today announced its participation at Microsoft Ignite® 2017, September 25–29, 2017, in Orlando, Florida. SolarWinds will demonstrate updates to the SolarWinds® Orion® Platform and across its systems management product portfolio, which simplifies troubleshooting, resource optimization, and performance management of applications and the infrastructure that supports them. The recently unveiled SolarWinds Exchange Monitor, a standalone free tool that monitors and alerts you to the performance, availability and capacity of your Microsoft® Exchange servers, will also be available for live demonstrations at the SolarWinds booth.

Additionally, SolarWinds Head Geek and nine-time Microsoft MVP, Thomas LaRock, will participate in two separate breakout sessions on September 26 and 27 on how to treat your data right and upgrading to SQL Server® 2016.

“The systems and applications we administer increase in complexity every day and as the complexity increases, we find that success and performance metrics are poorly defined, if they even exist at all,” said LaRock. “New skills are needed to keep pace with these rapid changes, and in my first session, When Bad Things Happen to Good Applications, I’ll discuss the right actions to take at the right time, and provide insights into application performance that can take complex systems and present root causes in simple ways.”
