TeleTracking Conference Focuses on Patient Flow as a Strategic Priority & Features a Live Command Center

Pittsburgh, PA, Oct. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TeleTracking Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of patient flow solutions, will feature three days of thought-provoking round-table discussions, interactive workshops, product boot camps, client success stories, and a live command center at its Annual Client Conference [TeleCon17], October 22-25, 2017 at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, AZ.

TeleCon17 sessions will focus on initiatives that support our mission, to ensure that no one will ever have to wait for the care they need, which include upcoming customer experience enhancements, along with TeleTracking’s strategic roadmap.

Inspirational speaker Inquoris “Inky” Johnson will deliver the keynote address. Johnson, who was seriously injured while making a routine tackle at the University of Tennessee, will share his story of relentless determination and the ability to overcome challenges with positivity.

Diane Watson, Chief Operating Officer and Katie Romano, Head of Customer Experience will discuss how TeleTracking’s best practices―the foundation of our client relationships—are being standardized to drive outcomes and measure patient flow performance. While Chris Johnson, Chief Solutions Officer, will share details around a new solution that provides comprehensive visibility and rapid access to care at affiliated post-acute facilities. This expansion into the post-acute space will make it possible to decompress acute care facilities, further optimize the discharge process, decrease avoidable days, and improve community outreach. He will also unveil five new mobile apps that bring data and insight to clinical and operational leaders.

The other main stage event will be the presentation of the inaugural DAISY Award for Patient Flow Excellence to Susan Kilgore, RN, Vice President Patient Management/Rural Outreach for Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio, TX. The award recognizes nurses, and teams of care providers who are led by a nurse, for their work in transitioning patients through the care delivery system.

New to TeleCon17 are two interactive, engaging experiences:

Live Command Center: Experience what it’s like to solve everyday problems across the care continuum―from inside the hospital to post-acute care setting. Four scenarios will be available to go through step-by-step: a patient with a pre-scheduled procedure and a planned post-acute placement; a pediatric patient visiting a clinic admitted for a 23-hour observation stay; a patient diagnosed with a STEMI in the ED of a community hospital that requires transfer to a tertiary care facility; and a call from County 911 Emergency Services Center of a mass-casualty bus crash and the arrival of 50 patients.

Innovation Lab: The Innovation Lab will provide customers with the opportunity to share information with TeleTracking patient flow experts―helping chart a path for and validate new approaches to patient flow challenges.

Finally, representatives from the following health systems from across the country will present their successful, innovative approaches to implementing TeleTracking and generating positive outcomes. They include:

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital
Baptist Memorial Health Care
BayCare Health System
McLeod Health
NYU Winthrop Hospital
Oklahoma University Medical Center

About TeleTracking Technologies, Inc.
For every hour patients wait for care, they face objectively worse outcomes. TeleTracking believes it is unacceptable that patients are not able to access the care they need, when they need it, due to operating inefficiencies and unnecessary cost barriers. Named one of Becker's "Great Places to Work" and a Pittsburgh Business Times “Corporate Citizenship Award” winner, TeleTracking delivers extraordinary outcomes that have been the subject of study by the RAND Corporation, and is the perennial KLAS Patient Flow Category Leader.
