Chicago, Ill., Oct. 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hillard Heintze announced today that two experts with decades of experience in contract security and security operations as well as public safety and law enforcement have joined its Security Risk Management Practice to expand the firm’s on-the-ground presence supporting two initiatives related to critical infrastructure protection.

Martin Davis is an accomplished client advisor, thought leader and public speaker with more than 28 years of experience in the security, pharmaceutical, high-end retail, executive protection and management consulting industries. With extensive experience in employee relations and business audits, Davis’ broad areas of expertise includes many aspects of corporate security such as contract security services; retail,  commercial and residential security operations; surveillance; access control; security training; closed-circuit television (CCTV); and loss prevention. Davis’ career has also involved key roles in crisis and emergency management as well as risk assessments. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and a Certified Institutional Protection Manager (CIPM), as well as a CompTIA Security+ IT Security Consultant, a Certified NAID Auditor and a Certified PSTN Trainer.

Wesley “Wes” Stought is a law enforcement official and public safety expert with more than two decades of security, project management and strategic leadership experience in the Ohio State Highway Patrol, where he rose in the ranks to become sergeant. In this role, Stought provided first-line supervision of troopers, oversaw daily operations and administrative investigations, coordinated personnel to establish incident scene security and integrity, and taught law enforcement classes. Stought will be assisting Hillard Heintze clients to coordinate physical security and ensure their ability to conduct business safely.
