Texas Department of Information Resources Awards New Contract to DoubleHorn

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has awarded a new contract with DoubleHorn an Austin-based cloud solutions provider and services broker.

This is the second consecutive DIR contract to be awarded to DoubleHorn and covers two years with two additional, one-year renewal options. The contract allows DoubleHorn to continue providing cloud services brokerage with providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace, Google Cloud, and IBM.

The contract allows any public entity at the state or local level to purchase services directly from DoubleHorn from the top five cloud partners at preferred pricing and volume based discounts.

DoubleHorn currently serves public sector customers such as Travis County, Edwards Aquifer Authority, and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
