“In a Moment” Exhibit at American Greetings Gallery W Showcases Contemporary Glass and Photography

Cleveland, OH, Jan. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The newest exhibit at Gallery W, the public art gallery located on the ground floor of American Greetings Creative Studios world headquarters, combines glass and photography to create narratives that bridge the space between myth and science. Titled “In a Moment,” the show celebrates five contemporary artists who are at the height of their craft: Brent Kee Young, Mark Sudduth, Brent Marshall, Robert Coby and Nancy McEntee. Each artist is able to suspend time as the viewer is drawn into these contemplative pieces of art that will be on display from Thursday, February 1 through Friday, March 23, 2018. The public is welcome at the opening reception from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

“The works in this exhibit are intangibly connected by the artists’ friendships,” said Linda Marshall, Digital Creative Director at American Greetings and Manager of Gallery W. “All five artists reside in Ohio, though this is the first time they have been exhibited together. To see so many amazing pieces of art adjacent to one another in this new context will provoke all the senses of the gallery-goers.”

Guests at the opening reception will be treated to Cleveland’s own DJ Paul Weaver providing a light, airy mix of music to muse and mingle to.
