Luxer One’s Customizable Lockers Offer Retailers BOPIS & Returns Efficiency

The package locker technology company, Luxer One, will be exhibiting at ShopTalk 2018 in the “Store of the Future” Discovery Zone (booth SF42). The company manufactures their line of lockers in the United States. Luxer One’s new custom locker form factor can be used by retailers for buy online pick up in-store (BOPIS), order returns, and other omnichannel functions.

SACRAMENTO, CA –– Luxer One, the leader in smart lockers for retail, is announcing custom locker design options at ShopTalk 2018. The company currently offers retail locker solutions for buy online pick-up in-store (BOPIS), order returns, and third-party delivery.

The company’s in-house engineering team designs the lockers and works with five American manufacturers. Director of Engineering & Manufacturing, Glen Garrettson, says, “We’ve worked tirelessly to not only design an incredibly robust product, but also to streamline our supply chain. We can now offer improved lead time and really exciting customization options to our customers.” The modular hardware features custom compartment sizes and outdoor options.

“We serve several industries with very individualized needs,” continues Garrettson. “So we’re proud to deliver high quality hardware for all kinds of special use cases.”

Locker compartments can be configured to unique retail scenarios where merchandise size is relatively uniform – such as in pharmacy, footwear, and beauty – or largely differentiated – such as in department stores or sporting goods stores. One confidential retailer reported an 86% improvement in service desk efficiency resulting from Luxer One’s BOPIS solution. “With the right mix of locker sizes for each retailer, we can scale their labor savings even further,” explains Luxer One CEO, Arik Levy.

“Ultimately, we’re doing double-duty for omnichannel retailers,” Levy continues. “We designed a shopper experience that’s incredibly fast and easy for customers, while also reducing retail labor costs.” The company’s customer satisfaction scores amount to 97%, as reported in shopper surveys. “It’s the kind of store automation technology that results in happier customers and more streamlined operations.”

Luxer One will be exhibiting next week at ShopTalk 2018, held at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV from March 18-21, 2018. Attendees can meet CEO Arik Levy and experience a live demo of Luxer One’s retail locker technology at the “Store of the Future” Discovery Zone, at booth SF42.
