Recent seed funding spurs investment in key hires across sales, finance, and marketing

WALTHAM, Mass., March 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following on the heels of the company’s recent seed investment round, Dover Microsystems continues to expand with the announcement of three key hires across sales, finance, and marketing. Joining the team are Dan Ganousis, Director of Sales; Susan Stewart, Director of Finance; and Leslie Barthel, Director of Marketing. Collectively these individuals will help Dover further the company’s ability to deliver a revolutionary hardware-based approach to protecting embedded processors from network-based attacks.

Dan Ganousis brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry to his role at Dover. A proven leader at organizations such as AccelChip, Mentor Graphics, Viewlogic, and others, Dan was most recently a business development consultant for embedded processor IP vendors Codasip, Cortus, and Andes Technology. At Dover he will lead the company’s worldwide sales efforts across IoT, autonomous vehicles, digital health, and other emerging markets. With nearly two decades of technology finance expertise, Susan Stewart joins Dover as the company’s Director of Finance. Prior to joining Dover, she was a member of Draper’s finance team where she managed the company’s financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and controls. Susan earned her BA in Economics and International Relations from Wellesley College and her MBA from Stern School of Business at New York University.

A startup veteran, Leslie Barthel joins Dover as Director of Marketing from Boston-based IoT company, TempAlert. Leslie holds a BA in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

“The cybersecurity industry is at a breaking point as existing solutions are not only ineffective but exacerbate network vulnerabilities. Dover is pioneering a new way to secure our hyperconnected world and we need to continue to build out the right team to accomplish that objective,” said Jothy Rosenberg, Dover Microsystems Co-Founder and CEO. “I am thrilled to add Dan, Susan, and Leslie to our growing team as each of them brings the relevant skills and expertise we need to bring the best possible secure computing solution to the global market.”
