Senior HR Executives are from Bank of America and Dell

WASHINGTON, March 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of more than 420 large, U.S. employers, today announced it has elected two corporate human resources executives, James Huffman and Tracey Stephens, to its board of directors, effective immediately.

“We are delighted to welcome Jim and Tracey to our Board of Directors to help frame how the Business Group and our members can advance improvements in health care delivery and payment reform and how to best deploy the healthiest and most productive workforce possible,” said Brian Marcotte, NBGH President and CEO.  “They bring a wealth of experience and insight in health care and human resources, and we are fortunate to add representation of their caliber to our board.”

James Huffman is senior vice president, head of employee benefits for Bank of America.  In this role, he is responsible for the design and delivery of employee benefits for Bank of America’s workforce.  This includes programs and services for employee health & wellness, retirement savings, and life management. Huffman works closely with senior management to set the overall strategic approach for the company’s benefits, and oversees the company’s benefits innovation, product and plan design, benefits delivery, benchmarking and measurement.

Tracey Stephens is vice president of global benefits for Dell.  Since joining Dell in 2013, she led a complete redesign of Dell’s U.S. benefits and expanded Dell’s employee well-being initiative. During Stephens’ tenure, Dell has been recognized multiple times as a great place to work, and the company’s benefits programs are often cited as an integral component of this recognition.

“Jim and Tracey bring an outstanding mix of business experience to the board,” said Judith Verhave, Chairman of the Board of the National Business Group on Health.  “Our members continue to look for innovative and forward-thinking approaches to solving the health care cost crisis.  Their guidance and expertise will further enhance the Business Group’s ability to support our members.”
