Virtual Instruments Given 5-Star Rating in CRN’s 2018 Partner Program Guide

Annual guide recognizes the channel’s top partner programs

San Jose, California, UNITED STATES

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virtual Instruments, the leader in application-centric infrastructure performance management (IPM), announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has given Virtual Instruments a 5-Star rating in its 2018 Partner Program Guide. This annual guide is the definitive listing of partner programs from technology vendors that provide products and services through the IT channel. The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.

To determine the 2018 5-Star ratings, The Channel Company’s research team assessed each vendor’s partner program based on investments in program offerings; partner profitability; partner training; education and support; marketing programs and resources; sales support; and communication.

The Virtual Instruments Partner (VIP) Program is designed to recognize channel partners’ expertise in enterprise technologies such as server virtualization, storage, storage networking, application performance management, and cloud infrastructure technologies. By participating in the program, value-added reseller (VAR) partners gain access to rewards and resources to drive sales, create new opportunities, expand their solution portfolio, increase profitability, and differentiate themselves from their competition.

Unlike traditional partner programs, upward progression through the VIP Program is primarily dependent on the introduction of new customer opportunities into Virtual Instruments’ sales pipeline, not on compliance requirements or revenue levels. Partners are protected with a well-defined deal registration process that provides further rewards to VARs who originate opportunities on their own.

“Finding the right technology vendor to partner with can be a daunting task, given the vast array of choices now available to solution providers,” said Robert Faletra, Executive Chairman of The Channel Company. “CRN’s Partner Program Guide and 5-Star ratings help them narrow the field and find the best fit, identifying the most rewarding partner programs and providing crucial insight into their strengths and benefits. We are pleased to present our 2018 PPG list, recognizing the strongest and most successful partner programs in the channel today.”

“Enterprises are increasingly demanding flexibility when it comes to the solutions they implement, and the best way to ensure that need is met is for companies to build an open ecosystem through mutually beneficial relationships,” said Paul Brodie, Vice President of Channels at Virtual Instruments. “Together, Virtual Instruments and our partners deliver solutions that guarantee the performance and availability of mission critical applications while minimizing IT infrastructure costs. We’re proud to be recognized for those efforts through our 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating awarded by CRN and The Channel Company.”

The 2018 Partner Program Guide will be featured in the April issue of CRN and online at
