Conference Track Available to Representatives of Teams, Leagues, Venues, and More

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn., April 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ticket Summit, the leading conference and trade show for ticketing and live entertainment professionals, today unveiled a new one-day track of sessions titled Introduction to Ticket Distribution. The track, aimed at representatives of producers, promoters, teams, leagues, venues, and more, will provide an introduction to multi-channel ticket distribution. The track of sessions will be on Wednesday, July 18 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

The track is available for representatives of what has traditionally been referred to as the primary ticket market. Those interested in learning about how open distribution is changing the ticket industry will be able to learn from experts in ticketing.

The track begins with Legislative Trends in the Ticketing Industry, a panel about upcoming legislation about ticket distribution. Attendees will then head to The Google Approach to Ticketing, a discussion with Mike Lorenc, Head of Ticketing at Google, about the search engine's policies. After lunch, representatives of DTI Management and TicketNetwork will give an Introduction to the Ticket Distribution Industry. The track continues with Managing a Growing Brokerage and a panel by Ticketmaster Resale. The track concludes with the conference’s closing keynote, The Ticket Industry, and the Closing Gala, where attendees will network with other conference attendees, including ticket brokers and key leaders in the industry.
