Seclore Enhances Rights Management with Streamlined Email User Experience and Expanded Integration with Best-of-Breed Technologies

MILPITAS, Calif., April 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Seclore, providers of the industry’s first agentless Rights Management solution, is building upon its ease-of-use and automation capabilities in the Seclore Rights Management 3.7 release. This new release offers the easiest-to-use email protection by enabling users to easily add, track, reply and revoke granular usage controls within the native email systems. By simplifying the process of utilizing Rights Management within the email system, the new release of Seclore Rights Management will increase adoption by the end user to ensure that the email content and attachments are protected throughout their lifecycle. The release also includes best-of-breed integrations with Boldon James Classifier, ForcePoint DLP and Adobe Pro.

“Confidential information in email has become a valuable commodity among hackers. By stealing sensitive email communications, hackers can persuade public opinion or expose, exploit, and embarrass corporations,” stated Vishal Gupta, CEO at Seclore. “Our latest release makes it easy for people to completely secure or revoke access to an entire email trail without having to change the way they interact with the email system.  The seamless integration of Seclore Rights Management in popular email solutions increases the adoption of data-centric security to reduce the risk of information being misused.”

Between email breaches and global regulations, such as GDPR and NIST that require information to be protected wherever it resides, the need for data-centric security is becoming the rule rather than the exception. Here are some additional capabilities available in the Seclore Rights Management 3.7 release that enhance the overall ease of use to maximize adoption:

  • Increased security with end-to-end protection for the entire email thread, including inline text, forwards and replies
  • Enhanced user interface within the native application that simplifies adding, tracking and revoking usage rights to an email by the sender
  • Email stays secure when external users reply to messages on a Mobile app or without installing an agent
  • Automatically attach usage policies before an email is sent by leveraging MS-Exchange rules and attributes, and mapping them to Seclore Rights Management
  • Bulk updates allow IT to transfer ownership of multiple protected documents at once, replicate a user’s usage rights to another user or replace a user for greater efficiency in managing protected documents

Additionally, Seclore Rights Management integration and synchronization of best-of-breed data-centric security products such DLP, Classification, SIEM, etc., helps organizations optimize their existing systems to maximize their security investments.

“We are excited about another bold step in innovation with the announcement with Boldon James, and our new Forcepoint and Adobe Pro connectors,” stated Abhijit Tannu, CTO at Seclore.  “As we advance towards the automation of a holistic data-centric security process from discovery, to classification, to rights management, and tracking, we are offering organizations the agility to better protect their sensitive information with minimal deployment and administration efforts.”

Seclore is pleased to announce several new integrations:

  • Boldon James Integration: The OEM of Boldon James Classifier and integration with Seclore Rights Management enables organizations to classify, protect, and track sensitive information using two best-of breed technologies
  • ForcePoint Connector: Through integration with both DLP Endpoint and Network Discovery, Seclore automatically protects sensitive data that is discovered by ForcePoint to prevent data loss
  • Adobe Pro Connector:  Seclore secures PDF documents with advanced usage control capabilities including edit, print, copy, screen capture
