Stealth Mark Collaborates with Oak Ridge National Labs on Next Generation Authentication

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL , April 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wellness Center USA, Inc.’s  (OTCQB: WCUI) wholly-owned subsidiary, StealthCo, Inc., dba Stealth Mark, is pleased to announce that they have concluded licensing of a patent for technology that is the next generation of Stealth Mark.

Working with researchers at the Oak Ridge National Labs, the patent signifies development of a new technology that will generate an invisible marking system with attributes currently unavailable in the anti-counterfeit marketplace today.  The formula and techniques have been shown through extensive testing to be resilient to manufacturing processes and can be used on a wide range of materials from woven and non-woven fabrics, cardboard, metal, concrete, plastics, leather, wood, and paper.  In addition, the complexity of the information that can be encoded with the system makes counterfeiting difficult.

Following the high standards of all Stealth Marks, the new technology is un-seeable with the human eye, is unduplicatable, non-hackable, indestructible, is not brand intrusive and as always, very affordable.

In its simplicity, the material is a permanent mark which requires no power source but is illuminated by a select spectral emission property. With extensive application possibilities, it can be applied in the form of symbols or readable patterns, such as a barcode that can incorporate additional information of use to the manufacturer and consumers.  The company will continue research to progress the formula and the current detectors that can be handheld with the means to read, process, and display information from the emitted signal that can work with existing databases and enterprise systems.

With prospective clients already requesting the qualities of the new formula, there is a soft launch now underway to a few select and highly specialized companies that are leaders in targeted industries.  Stealth Mark expects an official launch of the next generation in authentication in early summer of 2018.

Rick Howard, CEO of Stealth Mark, stated, “We are very excited about the pending roll out of this new formula.  Working with the exceptional talent of people at the Oak Ridge National Labs has been very beneficial and we look forward to our continued relationships in generating outstanding products designed to thwart illicit counterfeiting activity. The addition of this technology, alongside the company’s current intelligent microparticle technology, greatly strengthens the company’s position in the anti-counterfeiting marketplace.  Stealth Mark works hard to create the highest levels of protection for our clients and as we move toward our official launch, we also look forward to unveiling further components that are the first of their kind in the marketplace.”
