IAMCP Names Nerdio a Finalist in 2018 Global Partner-to-Partner Awards Program

Nerdio recognized for excellence and expertise in partner-to-partner solutions by IAMCP’s global Microsoft Channel Partner community

CHICAGO, July 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nerdio (www.getnerdio.com) is the creator of Nerdio for Azure, IT automation that enables ridiculously easy packaging, pricing, provisioning, management, and cost-optimization of hybrid and complete IT environments in the Microsoft Cloud. Today, the company is announcing it has been recognized by the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) as a top partner achieving excellence in partner-to-partner (P2P) solutions.

Nerdio for Azure is a SaaS solution designed to help MSPs build and rapidly grow their IT practices in Azure. Its allows even non-engineers to handle the majority of IT admin tasks in just three clicks or less. The result is that Nerdio dramatically increases operational efficiency for MSPs, and empowers them to better scale and expand their services. Plus MSPs get a unified management portal for all of their customers’ entire IT environments.

“We’re thrilled to receive this distinction from IAMCP for our steadfast dedication to driving the success of our partners within the Microsoft ecosystem,” said Vadim Vladimirskiy, CEO of Nerdio. “The recognition truly underscores our commitment to helping MSPs increase customer consumption of Azure while also maximizing their opportunities to expand their advanced cloud services portfolio.”

As a recent example, using Nerdio for Azure, Microsoft partner Northstar was able to accurately architect, size, and -- most importantly -- guarantee a non-disruptive migration of the entire IT stack to Azure on behalf of their financial services customer. The customer had been exploring other cloud migration options, but only Northstar was able to assure them of a completely rapid and seamless transition with zero downtime. This included setting up the environment, connecting it to the existing data center and all office locations via VPN, extending the existing Active Directory in Azure, provisioning virtual desktops, and migrating all users and applications into the new environment.

“We were able to set up Nerdio in almost no time and their team expertly answered any questions we had right away, so our customer felt confident and secure during the entire process,” said Northstar Technologies President and CEO Ji Lee. “Because of the tools that Nerdio provided, we were able to set up the whole infrastructure within 15-20 minutes, including RDS Gateways, ADFS, integration to Office 365, and all the session hosts. It was a streamlined, easy experience.”

Launched in 2015, the IAMCP Awards Program is designed to encourage and recognize Association members for the outstanding, innovative and creative products and services they deliver through trusted P2P and channel relationships.

“Partners continue to drive innovation by taking advantage of the new opportunities that digital transformation and cloud technologies enable,” said award committee chairperson and former IAMCP President, Gail Mercer-MacKay. “Microsoft continues to build the best platforms for partners to invent new solutions that enable enterprises to thrive. Our IAMCP partner ecosystem encourages brilliant minds to work together where all of us can achieve more than what any of us could achieve individually.”

Winners will be announced at a special ceremony on Tuesday, July 17th at 4 PM during the Microsoft Inspire 2018 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the event, Nerdio will be also offering demonstrations of its solution, highlighting latest developments, as well as leading a session on “Market Your Way To Explosive Growth in Customer Acquisition.”
