Palm Truck Centers Increases Online Leads with New Websites

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- From a one-bay body shop in Hollywood, Florida to a multi-location truck dealership serving the entire Southern Florida region, the Palm Truck Centers team has been busy in the years since founder and chairman Victor Weiger started the company in 1965.

Originally from the Midwest, Victor learned the trade from his father and has now passed it onto his own children, all three of whom help run the company today. His son David Weiger has taken on the role of President, his daughter Debbie Demers serves as Vice President, and his daughter Diana Weiger is the Marketing and Business Development Manager. Diana, who started working for her father’s company as a teenager, says that the company employed only about twenty people when she started. They now have over 120 employees, across five dealership locations.

The Palm Truck Centers team is centered around customer service, with the company mission stating in part: “The customer is our number one concern. Without our customers, we would not exist…our goal is for each and every employee to put forth that extra effort and provide first-class service, so that customers get the satisfaction they deserve.” A large part of serving customers means accommodating their preferences, and in recent years customer preference for making truck purchases has been through digital marketing.

“People don’t come into the dealership anymore,” Diana Weiger explains. “And business owners aren’t sitting at their desks anymore, so the whole cold-call thing has gone out of style. Prospects are now looking for trucks, comparing trucks, and requesting quotes online – so if you don’t have a website, you can expect your dealership to see a drastic reduction in sales.”  

Prior to the summer of 2017, Palm Truck Centers’ previous website was not meeting the team’s expectations. Weiger was determined to find a more competitive solution to get in front of prospects online, and she was introduced to Dealer Spike. In just under one year, Palm Truck Centers has seen a huge jump in online leads between the two websites that Dealer Spike built for the dealership group. “Everything worked out even better than expected,” Weiger says.
