SanStone Health & Rehabilitation Partners with MatrixCare for Enterprise Technology Solution

LTPAC leader joins growing list of providers upgrading to MatrixCare

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Aug. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MatrixCare®, the largest long-term, post-acute care (LTPAC) technology provider in the United States and perennial winner of the coveted Best in KLAS award for Long-Term Care software, has been selected as SanStone Health & Rehabilitation’s enterprise EHR platform partner. MatrixCare will initially be rolled out to all SanStone corporate and skilled nursing locations across its regions of operation.

SanStone Health is a leader in North Carolina and provides caring, professional and compassionate environments for people to live and rehabilitate. In addition to long-term care and rehabilitation, SanStone provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services, as well as wound, skin and nutritional care.

As a regional leader in the movement toward value-based care, SanStone determined it needed to upgrade its information technology capabilities to be able to continue its track record of success and growth as the industry shifts to fee-for-value reimbursement.

“We have been aggressively searching for a technology partner to help us navigate the ever-changing post-acute/short-term rehabilitation arena for several years. MatrixCare has all the components necessary to integrate seamlessly with the various appendages of our health care platform. The data entry and reporting dashboards are phenomenal. Training, customer service and purchase value have all exceeded our expectations,” said Chris Sprenger, President, SanStone Health.

SanStone Health joins the growing list of leading LTPAC providers upgrading to MatrixCare to take advantage of better interoperability, better ease of use, better analytics, better service, better long-term vendor stability, and better outcomes performance.

“As the LTPAC industry continues the journey to value-based care, regional organizations with fully integrated delivery systems like SanStone are well positioned to assume and manage risk in care delivery,” said John Damgaard, President and CEO of MatrixCare. “SanStone is recognized as a leader in long-term health care in North Carolina, and we are honored to provide them with Best in KLAS technologies to power their continued growth in this evolving industry.”
