Industrial Real Estate Thought Leader Mike White Named to Safe Ports Board of Advisors


CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Safe Ports Holdings, an expert global solutions provider in logistics and other mission critical functions for government agencies, NGOs and commercial enterprises, today named Mike White, a U.S. Army veteran and founder of Charleston Industrial.com, LLC to the company’s Board of Advisors.

The announcement was made by Lucy Duncan, CEO, Safe Ports Holdings; and General John M. (Jack) Keane, U.S. Army retired, and chairman, Safe Ports Board of Advisers, as the company’s premier initiative – Safe Ports Regional Gateway located in the Kingdom of Jordan – continues to gain momentum.  Launched in November 2017, the project is being developed in partnership with Mafraq Development Corporation and the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

Mr. White, who has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial real estate, formed Charleston Industrial.com, LLC in 2009. Mr. White’s company provides marketing and forecasting expertise on the Charleston industrial market, port logistics and aerospace manufacturing to some of America’s largest manufacturing and logistics companies.

During his industrial real estate career, Mr. White has personally supported the real estate requirements of Johnson & Johnson, Federal Express, Lear Corporation, Philips Electronics, Caterpillar, A.O. Smith, Robert Bosch, Federal Mogul, Cardinal Healthcare, Ryder Logistics, Werner Ladder, among many other clients.

A 1983 graduate of West Point, Mr. White earned a B.S. degree in Engineering.  White served as a U.S. Army officer in Military Intelligence for ten years and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal. CPT White was also recognized for his exceptionally meritorious service in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Mr. White also served as a Soviet Air Threat Analyst in the Directorate of Combat Developments and gained wide acclaim in the intelligence community for his briefings and technical writings.
