Jazz Fans Can Now Enjoy Utah’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie During The Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chip, Utah’s first gourmet cookie delivery company, today announced the opening of two new locations in Vivint Smart Home Arena in time for the Utah Jazz home opener against the Golden State Warriors. This announcement comes on the heels of a period of rapid growth for Chip and will mark a total of seven locations. The gourmet cookie delivery service first started at its flagship location in Provo, Utah and has since expanded to Salt Lake City, Boise, and Meridian, Idaho.

“We are thrilled to have such amazing and loyal customers here in Utah that are constantly asking us to expand our business to different parts of the state,” said Sarah Wilson, co-founder of Chip.  “Our love for the Utah Jazz and love of our customers made moving into Vivint Smart Home Arena the logical next step in our company’s evolution.”

Chip will have two storefronts in Vivint Smart Home Arena. The first location is located on level three, just outside Portal Q and the second will be located inside Vivint Home Court Lounge adjacent to Portal V.

“We want Vivint Home Court to be a lounge that feels like home complete with freshly baked cookies to enhance our fan’s experience,” said Jim Olson, President of Vivint Smart Home Arena. “They can enjoy fresh Chip cookies while playing video games, watching basketball games and hanging out with their friends and family.”

During events, fans will be able to purchase Chip’s signature chocolate chip cookie as well as a “Chip of the month” (the company’s cookie of the month). Previously, Chip has partnered with local Utah influencers to create specialty flavors such as Freshly Picked featuring Chocolate Malt Chip and Hailey Devine with the Salted Caramel Chip - for more past examples check out their site.

About Vivint Home Smart Arena
Located in downtown Salt Lake City, Vivint Smart Home Arena opened in 1991 as the home court of the NBA Utah Jazz and is well known for being one of the hardest places to play for visiting teams. With a seating capacity of about 20,000, the facility is the largest, most high-tech arena within a five-state radius and was built faster than any other arena at the time of its construction in 15 months and 24 days. The basketball court is named in honor of Larry H. Miller. Vivint Smart Home Arena is the site of a variety of sports and entertainment, including ice shows, dirt shows, and concerts. The facility hosted the 1993 NBA All-Star Game, the 2002 Olympic Winter Games figure skating and short track speed skating competitions, and the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. In 2017 the arena underwent a $125 million renovation that enhanced the fan and visitor years to come. For more information,
