HARLEYSVILLE, PA, Nov. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- When every day is a struggle to meet basic needs, the holidays can be overwhelmingly stressful. On Giving Tuesday, Mitzvah Circle Foundation will change this story for hundreds of families living throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Flipping the Giving Tuesday script, Mitzvah Circle Foundation won’t be asking for support, they’ll be giving it during the Great Toy Giveaway.
On Tuesday, November 27th from 9:30-11:30 and 12:30-2:30 at 1511 Gehman Road, Harleysville, Mitzvah Circle Foundation and volunteers from Merck, United Healthcare and Klein Hersh will be distributing hundreds of new toys and thousands of pieces of new clothing to 40 organizations who serve the most vulnerable populations from Reading to Philadelphia. Agencies – small and large – including St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, the Salvation Army Shelter, Nurse Family Partnership and Easter Seals – will be filling up their cars with these new gifts.
These nonprofit organizations will be distributing the toys and clothing to the people they serve, giving people the space to not only enjoy the holidays, but the resources to save money for necessities. Agencies are always struggling to meet the high demand for services and resources during the holiday season. By working with their partners, Mitzvah Circle Foundation will meet the needs of these agencies and support the work of many organizations, creating a stronger safety net for the people being served.

Additionally, these developmentally appropriate toys will enhance early learning. Mitzvah Circle Foundation’s Great Toy Giveaway will bring joy to children and ease stress and anxiety for families.
