Globe Photos’ Photo File Powers 2019 NHL® All-Star Weekend Photo Booth

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 04, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Photo File, the licensed sports division of Globe Photos, Inc. (OTCQB: GBPT), powered a Photo Studio Deluxe photo booth at the 2019 NHL® All-Star Fan Fair™ held last weekend in San Jose, Calif.

The photo booth’s green screen technology coupled with Globe Photos’ licensed sports photography enabled fans to create real-time, immersive group photos, putting them “in the scene.”

Fans could immediately print their photos in sizes ranging from strips to 6” x 9” format, as well as share digitally with friends and family across social media, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The Photo Studio Deluxe booth averaged more than 400 prints a day over the four-day event, reportedly a record amount for such an event.

“Our sports photo booth created an exciting interactive and personalized experience for NHL fans attending this marquee sports event,” said Globe Photos CEO and president, Stuart Scheinman. “As a new retail concept for Globe, it is an example of one of many fresh initiatives we’re developing to capture new customers, monetize our photo assets, and expand our reach. This experiential booth is an exciting step towards greater deployment of licensed sports experiences that bridge the gap between traditional retail and online sales.”
