Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, North America's Leading Clean Fleet Event, Announces 2019 Full Speaker Line Up and New Partner Events

The 2019 ACT Expo will bring together over 150 industry expert speakers through a series of workshops, technical sessions, and co-located partner events

Santa Monica, Calif., April 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Organizers of the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, North America’s leading conference and expo on real-world applications of the latest advanced transportation technologies, announced the full speaker roster for the ninth annual show taking place April 23 – 26 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Southern California. In addition, over a dozen co-located events have been announced, held in partnership with leading industry organizations and member-based associations across the commercial transportation space.

The ACT Expo 2019 agenda will focus on the mega-trends driving the future of the industry, including connected vehicle technologies, fuel efficiency improvement strategies and equipment, drivetrain electrification, and much more. Over the four-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from over 200 industry experts through a series of workshops, technical sessions, and co-located partner events.

The ninth annual ACT Expo will be kicked off by a welcome address from Jay Craig, CEO and president of Meritor. Janice Hahn, South Coast Air Quality Management District board member, will follow with a special recognition ceremony to announce a significant milestone in the development of zero-emission truck technology.

The 2019 keynote address will be provided by Roger Nielsen, president and CEO of Daimler Trucks North America, on Wednesday, April 24 who will share how Daimler is setting its sights on the future across medium- and heavy-duty trucking. The company is an industry leader in the development of zero-emission trucks and drivetrains, as well as ultra-low emission natural gas trucks and traditional platforms with industry-leading efficiency and connectivity.

Directly following the opening keynote address will be a panel discussion focusing on the state of alternative fuels and connected technologies. The panel of expert speakers include:
