Christina Hlusko, President and CEO, CAA North & East Ontario Named Ottawa Businesswoman of the Year


OTTAWA, April 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Women’s Business Network (WBN) presented its prestigious Ottawa Businesswoman of the Year 2019 Award to Christina Hlusko, President and CEO, CAA North & East Ontario. The award was presented at a gala awards ceremony last evening.

The BYA’s – Businesswoman of the Year Awards – celebrate the business achievements, professional expertise and leadership of outstanding women in the National Capital Region. The black-tie dinner and awards ceremony, presented by PWL Capital, was held Thursday at the Infinity Convention Centre. Twelve finalists in four categories – Professional, Organization, Emerging Entrepreneur and Established Entrepreneur – participate. Christina Hlusko was a finalist in the Organization category before receiving the Businesswoman of the Year, 2019 title.

Prior to becoming President & CEO, Christina has worked in the fields of Human Resources, Labour Relations, Marketing and Product Management, Travel and Automotive Services and in Operations. Christina is a founding member of the Leadership Committee for The Women in Philanthropy program at Queensway Carleton Hospital which brings together like-minded women who want to help transform healthcare for Ottawa and our region through their collective giving.
