Reese’s is Freezing Eggs!

Fan-Favorite, Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, to Come Back for Lucky Fans This Summer

HERSHEY, Pa., April 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Easter is almost here, which means Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs won’t be around much longer.  While it’s no secret that everyone loves these chocolate and peanut butter wonders (yep, it’s the number one Easter candy*), their limited time availability causes extreme disappointment when they disappear from shelves. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs’ unique, undeniable ratio of peanut butter to chocolate is such a fan favorite that they clamor to stock pile them until the next Easter season.  While fans should still stock-up – as you can’t get shapes again until Halloween – this year, Reese’s found another solution…freezing Eggs! That’s right, Reese’s is going to freeze Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and give them out to a few lucky fans when they need them the most…during Summer 2019!

“We know our fans dread the end of Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs season,” said Jan Grinstead, Easter manager. “So, we wanted to surprise them with a chance to get their hands on our iconic Eggs long after Easter.”

Now for the important part – details on how to claim your spot in the freezer. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16 at 3 p.m. EDT, Reese’s social media channels will post the link to claim your Reese’s Eggs. Remember, it is first come, first reserve. So, set an alarm to try for your chance at having 36 Reese’s Eggs delivered to your door when not everyone can get them (talk about bragging rights!).

Once the freezer is full, Reese’s will wait for warmer temperatures to thaw and deliver these delicious Eggs to the lucky winners. When exactly? This summer, when the time is just right.

The offer will run through April 19 at 3 a.m. EDT, while supplies last. Didn’t claim Reese’s Eggs in time? Be sure to stock up on Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs ahead of the Easter season and put them in your own freezer. Question is, will you be able to keep your hands off them until summer?
