Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital, in Partnership With the FACE Foundation and ARWOB, Will Be Holding a Donation Drive to Aid Animals in The Area

SAN DIEGO, April 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital has partnered with two different organizations – FACE Foundation and ARWOB – to make life better for pets and their owners through a local donation drive.  By providing support for these organizations, Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital in San Diego is helping save abandoned dogs and cats, helping in the fight against pet overpopulation, and saving lives.

The donation drive is designed to achieve three things: raise awareness for animal needs, collect items such as food and supplies such as collars, leashes, blankets, and bedding, and to collect monetary donations for pets who need medical procedures that their people cannot afford.

This effort is in collaboration with Animal Rescuers Without Borders (ARWOB) for the supplies and the FACE Foundation for the medical funding. There are a lot of animals in need in the area, and the collaboration of Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital, FACE, and ARWOB can do a lot of good in the community if many people join in on the drive. The donation drive will last until June 1, 2019.

The FACE Foundation has saved over 2,000 pet lives with their fundraising efforts in collaboration with veterinary clinics. The foundation allows people to help their pets when they otherwise would not have the financial ability to. They are continuing the good work with even higher helping goals for the future.

The Animal Rescuers Without Borders is an all-volunteer non-profit foundation that aids in making sure needs pets have the supplies they need to thrive. They work in collaboration with volunteers, veterinary clinics, and other foundations.

Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Tierrasanta area with quality pet care for years, and the caring professionals are all eager to help area pets in the coming months by collecting donations at the clinic and increasing awareness for needy pets in the area. Dr. Michelle Schexneider D.V.M. is excited for this collaboration and states, "People in the community can bring supplies and donations to the clinic any time until June 1, if they want to take part in this important cause."
