Automation Technology Expo (ATX) East 2019 Introduces New Online Feature For Attendees To Explore Manufacturing’s Growing Sectors Through Lens of the Industry’s Core Themes

Attendee Journeys enables guests of leading manufacturing event to optimize their experiences across six co-located shows

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Automation Technology Expo (ATX) East, part of the East Coast's largest advanced design and manufacturing event, today introduced Attendee Journeys, a new online feature to optimize attendees’ experience across the expo’s six co-located shows including: Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) EastEastPack, Atlantic Design & ManufacturingPLASTEC East, and Quality Expo.

The event, which will gather more than 8,000 manufacturing professionals, takes place June 11–13 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. To apply for a media pass, please visit: newyork.am.ubm.com/2019/registrations/Media.

The new feature allows attendees to explore the expo through the lens of six core themes including 3D Printing, Robotics and Automation, Contract Manufacturing & Contract Packaging, Injection Molding, Food & Beverage Packaging, and Labels & Labeling. With more than 50 sessions, 550 exhibitors, and three dedicated hubs spotlighting topics in 3D printing, packaging, medtech, and smart manufacturing, Attendee Journeys will be a go-to resource for guests to plan their show schedule efficiently.

“As the largest advanced design and manufacturing event on the East Coast, our expo and education sessions cover the manufacturing process beginning-to-end,” said Ian Doyle, Event Director, Advanced Manufacturing Group, Informa. “As technology advances, we are seeing the growing sectors within our co-located shows becoming increasingly interconnected. An attendee may register for one show, like Atlantic Design & Manufacturing, but will also likely be interested in exhibitors and sessions found in ATX, East Pack, or one of the other events. These Attendee Journeys will help guests navigate the entire event and make it easy to experience everything the show has to offer.”

The Attendee Journeys Topic pages can be accessed on the event’s website and mobile app, where attendees can zero in on suppliers, sessions, and products related to their specific topic of interest to then build-out a custom schedule that meets their specific needs.
