Titled “A CISO’s Perspective on Presenting OT Risk to the Board,” this educational webinar will provide attendees with strategies for effectively presenting OT risk to the board of directors in business terms. These include the need to describe how the security organization is enabling strategic business initiatives — such as IIoT and digitization — while ensuring organizational readiness to deal with growing OT threats, such as targeted attacks and destructive ransomware.

With over 19 years of experience, Abadi has deep knowledge of managing cyber incident response in regulated OT environments. In the webinar, Abadi will cover several key questions when addressing the board of directors, including when is cybersecurity not an IT issue, what are the legal implications of OT risk, what is an adequate risk management framework and budget, and what are the right metrics.
Shugrue will also briefly discuss how a modern OT cybersecurity platform can provide a spectrum of mitigation and protection controls for reducing key risks to a company’s “crown jewel” processes, including continuous risk and vulnerability management, threat monitoring, threat intelligence, and blocking.
