Green House Data Acquires Deliveron

Strategic acquisition facilitates DevOps enablement, cloud migration, and modern app development capabilities

CHEYENNE, W.Ya. and OMAHA, Neb., May 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green House Data, a leading provider of digital transformation services including managed cloud hosting, data center modernization, and enterprise advisory services, today announced the acquisition of Deliveron, an agile-focused DevOps development firm.

By deepening staff and company capabilities around refactoring applications for modern cloud-based architectures—in particular, within Azure—DevOps enablement and consulting, and analytics-driven software development, Green House Data is now uniquely suited to deliver comprehensive IT modernization and IT management.

“The digital transformation journey for many enterprises has not only become more complex but also the pace of required innovation to stay competitive has quickened,” said Green House Data CEO Shawn Mills. “Offering DevOps practices and development capabilities alongside cloud ecosystem and infrastructure management is key to helping organizations develop to scale, and adding Deliveron’s team and capabilities further cements our ability to help enterprise and midmarket organizations overcome truly diverse IT challenges.”

Founded in 2007, Green House Data began as a colocation and hosted cloud provider. Over the past decade the company has added data center facilities across the United States and continued to expand its service offerings into Microsoft Azure, enterprise applications, advisory consulting, information security and compliance, and hybrid multi-cloud management.

“This acquisition rounds out our vision of serving organizations from the bottom to the top of the stack, from their underlying infrastructure through the application layer,” said Green House Data CTO Thomas Burns. “Enterprise applications are never truly ‘lift-and-shift’ to the cloud. We are now better situated to provide the agile methodology required to architect across hyperscale clouds, private clouds, and on-premises assets.”

Deliveron was founded in 2006 by Lucas Sahm and John Weland and focused on software development, cloud solutions, and DevOps lifecycle management processes that result in custom software products and solutions to help differentiate and innovate on behalf of their clients. Deliveron is a Microsoft Managed Partner, aligning with Green House Data’s status as Microsoft Gold Partner and Azure Expert MSP.

“We believe that our delivery model, which provides customers a high performing Agile team as a service, can now grow and scale to help empower more customers to successfully deliver on their digital transformation journey,” said John Weland, Co-Founder, Deliveron. “This will be one of many differentiating capabilities that we can offer as a combined organization that will drive meaningful change with our customers and their teams.”

“The combined capabilities of Green House Data and Deliveron will bring tremendous value to our customers,” said Lucas Sahm, Co-Founder, Deliveron. “We now have the ability to help our customers build, deploy, host, and manage modern apps that drive both differentiation and innovation. We are excited to join a rapidly growing IT service provider to help clients reach their goals around data center modernization, workload migration, and agile DevOps processes.”
