This year’s sale will be the longest Prime Day event in Amazon’s history, lasting 12 hours longer than last year’s sale. Amazon’s sales during Prime Day 2018 outperformed the previous Cyber Monday and Black Friday sales for the online retailer, when comparing 36 hour periods. In addition to Amazon devices, the top sellers around the world last year included the Instant Pot Multi Use Cookers, Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones, robot vacuum cleaners and 23andMe DNA testing kits.
When is Prime Day? The sale begins at midnight PST (3am EST) on Monday, July 15 and will continue to run for 48 hours.
