BeyondSpring Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Ordinary Shares


NEW YORK, July 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BeyondSpring Inc. (the “Company” or “BeyondSpring”) (Nasdaq: BYSI), a global clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative immuno-oncology cancer therapies, today announced the pricing of its public offering of 2,058,825 ordinary shares at a public offering price of $17.00 per share. The offering was led by Decheng Capital. The gross proceeds from the public offering are expected to be $35.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses. The underwriter has a 30-day option to purchase from the Company up to an additional 308,823 ordinary shares at the public offering price. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to support continued clinical and pre-clinical development and for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on July 19, 2019, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

William Blair & Company, L.L.C. is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.

The offering is being made pursuant to the Company’s existing shelf registration statement, which was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on April 25, 2018 and became effective on May 3, 2018.
