Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How much does the average Canadian family pay in taxes? New study coming Thursday, August 1


TORONTO, July 31, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Thursday, August 1, the Fraser Institute will release its annual study on the total tax bill for Canadian families and individuals.

The Canadian Consumer Tax Index tracks the total tax bill of the average Canadian family from 1961 to 2018 by calculating all the taxes Canadians pay, spotlights different types of families and income levels, and measures the growth of the tax bill over time.
