HILLSBORO, Ore. and LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LAIKA, the award-winning animation studio whose five films -- Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012), The Boxtrolls (2014), Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) and Missing Link (2019) -- have delighted fans and wowed critics, will present a day-long retrospective of its films at The Landmark in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 27th. Admission is free. In addition, an exhibition of LAIKA puppets and dioramas will delight fans in the Landmark lobby. The Landmark is located at 10850 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064.
LAIKA President & CEO Travis Knight, who directed Kubo and the Two Strings, will introduce the screening and participate in a Q&A after the film while Writer/Director Chris Butler will do a Q&A after the screening of Missing Link.
