DETROIT, April 24, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today Xushi-Ko, Sysco Detroit and Jim Woolsey will team up to deliver over 500 donated meals for the medical staff of Dearborn Beaumont Hospital to recognize the essential work and long hours of these everyday heroes who are giving so much to their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All donated meals were prepared at Xushi-Ko using strict sanitation and preparation guidelines to ensure the safety of the chefs, medical staff and the Sysco employees delivering the meals.
Funding for this event was raised through an acoustic performance by Jim Woolsey, a Sysco Detroit associate.
