“At CFS, we are committed to advancing oncology education and fostering a sense of community within the health care industry,” said Jim Palatine, president of PER. “This year, we are taking bold steps to elevate the attendee experience and honor the remarkable individuals who make a difference in the fight against cancer."

In a unique endeavor, CFS has partnered with talented street artists to pay tribute to three exceptional Oncology Heroes. The heroes featured over the course of the symposium represent a Hematology Hero from The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai, Breast Hero from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Lung Hero from Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. Each day of the event will highlight one of these heroes and bring their stories and contributions to the forefront.

The creative canvas of street art will serve as a dynamic medium for showcasing the incredible journeys of our Oncology Heroes. Attendees will have the privilege of witnessing the artistic process, the metamorphosis of a blank canvas into a powerful masterpiece that encapsulates the spirit of innovation in cancer care. It is not just art, but a profound narrative of hope, courage, and dedication.

Our partnership with gifted street artists amplifies the depth of our tribute to these remarkable heroes, each of whom has made an invaluable contribution to the field of oncology. Through the skillful strokes and vibrant colors, we pay homage to their unwavering commitment to the fight against cancer.

CFS will also host a Movember-themed pop-up. Attendees can indulge in a unique barbershop photo set experience, capturing their "Movember journey" starting from the conference. Participants will be encouraged to share their photos on their social platforms, tagging PER. For each tagged post, PER will donate $10 to support men's health initiatives.
