Keystone Automotive Announces Opening of Distribution Center in Cincinnati, Ohio

POMONA, Calif., April 5, 1999 (PRIMEZONE) -- Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: KEYS) today announced that it has opened a 30,000 square foot distribution facility in northern Cincinnati to be operated under the Fenders & More banner. This operation will carry a full line of collision replacement parts, radiators, condensers, glass and wheels, and will service the metro Cincinnati area, southern Ohio and southern Indiana.

Charles Hogarty, president and chief executive officer of Keystone, said, "This start-up operation will complement and connect existing locations in Louisville and Indianapolis. Our growth strategy, which has been predominantly internal growth and acquisitions, will be complemented by our ability to enter attractive markets via start-ups."

Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. distributes its products in the United States primarily to collision repair shops through its 105 distribution facilities, of which 19 serve as regional hubs. Its product lines consist of automotive body parts, bumpers, auto glass and remanufactured alloy wheels, as well as paint and other materials used in repairing a damaged vehicle. These products comprise more than 19,000 stock keeping units that are sold to more than 25,000 repair shops throughout the nation.
