BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., Feb. 23, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- "Sojourn In The Forest," a compilation of original Celtic fingerstyle guitar songs and instrumentals by John Stedham, is now available on Amazon.com, CDNow and CDUniverse.
Born and raised in South Florida, Stedham began playing guitar while still in high school and began developing his own style of Celtic fingerstyle technique and composition, drawing upon such influences as Al Petteway and Pierre Bensusan.
In 1998, Stedham recorded "On The Edge of The Storm," his home- produced demo project, and in 1999 completed recording of his full-length debut album, "Sojourn In The Forest," under his own label. Stedham's song "Memories of Natchez" also appears on the OASIS Sampler CD "Acoustic Instrumentals Volume 3."
Sojourn In The Forest has been featured on WLRN Public Radio 93.1 and WLVE 94.3 in South Florida.
