The plans for the formation of a separate business unit Asia, which were announced last summer, are now being implemented. Alex Brunner (47) joins the Executive Committee of the Belimo Group and will be responsible for the business unit Europe. Andreas Steiner , CEO of the Belimo Group, heads the business unit Asia until further notice.
Alex Brunner was director of Johnson Controls Systems Ltd., Switzerland, which he has been build-ing up since 1994. Before he was in the marketing department at Landis and Gyr. The main objec-tive of his new task at Belimo will be to ensure the market penetration of Belimo products for air ap-plications in Europe and the success of his business unit.
Jörg Zielasek, who was so far responsible for the business unit Europe-Asia, shall be leaving the Belimo Group at the end of March. He will join the management of a German fitting manufacturer in the HVAC business.
