Manager appointed for the business unit Asia, newly created in the spring of 2001.
Matthias Haas (41) takes over this business unit as of October 1, 2001 and will join the Executive Committee of the Belimo Group at the same time. Up to now, Matthias Haas has been Head of Product Management Asia-Pacific at Siemens Building Technologies.
The main focus of his new task will be on developing the access to the Asian market for the Belimo Group. His workplace in Hong Kong assures the required closeness to the market to Matthias Haas.
The Belimo Group intends to increase its sales in the Asia-Pacific region from CHF 11 million to more than CHF 33 million by 2005.
