Flamemaster Reports Robust Increase in Sales for its Fiscal Fourth Quarter Ended September 30, 2001, and Continued to Show Improvement in Sales for the First Month of Fiscal 2002


SUN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 6, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Flamemaster Corporation (Nasdaq:FAME) today announced that for its fourth quarter ended September 30, 2001, net sales gained over 40 percent to $1,208,947, from $851,898 in the previous year's quarter. For the month of October 2001, the Company's first month of fiscal 2002, net sales gained around 40 percent over the same month a year earlier. The Company attributes the sales gain to an expanded customer base and new product introductions.

Flamemaster owns a sizable interest in PerfectData Corporation (Nasdaq:PERF). PerfectData recently announced that it executed a letter of intent to acquire Graphco Technologies Inc. (G-TEC), a technology software and systems development company providing advanced security solutions for Biometric Identification, Secure Access, Surveillance and Secure Law Enforcement Incident Management. G-TEC Solutions offer systems for protecting public and personal security and assets, while protecting data information, communications and individual privacy.

Flamemaster Corporation is a Southern California-based specialty chemicals manufacturer of high performance aircraft and aerospace sealants, protective coatings and fire stop systems.
