HiQ Signs Agreement with I L Recycling to work on IT Strategies for Business Control

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 6, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The IT and management consultancy HiQ has signed an agreement with I L Recycling and is working with the company's IT strategies in order to improve business control.

I L Recycling is one of Sweden's leading recycling companies with net sales close to SEK 900 million (2001). The company has extensive expertise and know-how of everything from sorting at source to collection, transportation and recycling.

I L Recycling has enlisted the help of HiQ to review the company's overall technical design and for advice on selecting security solutions.

"As project manager, HiQ is working on implementing a permanent solution for I L Recyling's strategic IT planning," said Patrik Boman, Managing Director of HiQ Stockholm.

The assignment includes, for example, IT strategies, procurement and requirement stipulations for planned future development projects within IT, co-ordination of IT infrastructure (information, communication, etc.), and building an internal network within IL for strategic IT.

"IL Recycling works intensely with fortifying our positions within all our market areas. With the help of IT, our ambition is to strengthen our business model and the way we do business," said Lars Gafvert, Administrative Manager of IL Recycling.

"The recycling industry is not only important because it saves the environment, but also as a means of cutting the cost of waste disposal. Using IT to render recycling activities more efficient will help companies in the industry to further increase their profitability. And we are happy to help them with this," said Boman.
