The EDIPRESSE GROUP and COMPAGNIE FINANCIÈRE TRADITION join together in the capital of Infotec S.A.


The Edipresse Group is acquiring 70% of the capital of Infotec S.A., a company which is based in Geneva. It is taking over the founder's holding, together with a majority of the shares of the current main shareholder Compagnie Financière Tradition, which will remain a minority partner. Terms of the transaction are confidential.
 
Infotec S.A. is active in the financial information area and has a turnover in the region of CHF 10 million. It offers innovative solutions to its customers, based in particular on web technology.
 
This transaction enables Edipresse to strengthen its expertise in electronic content distribution and in state-of-the-art technology (notably real time streaming applications).
 
Infotec will be managed as a standalone business unit within the Edipresse Group.
