STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 21, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gert Aage Nielsen (48) has been appointed Head of Group Support and Procurement in Nordea (Other OTC:NRDAF) and will assume his new responsibilities immediately.
The new common support and procurement organization is established within Group Staffs. The unit will consolidate general support services and procurement on Group level, not primarily related to business activities, to increase benefits of scale and efficiency.
Gert Aage Nielsen has held several management positions in Nordea, most recently CFO in Nordea Securities. He holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
