WM-data Interim Report, Nine Months Ended September 30, 2002

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 8, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- WM-data (Other OTC:WMDTF) (Stockholm:WMb):

- For the first nine months operating profit, before amortization
of goodwill and items affecting comparability, was SEK 131 M (251).
Corresponding profit for the third quarter was SEK 33 M (-24).

- After net financial items, a loss of SEK 568 M (-108) was
reported. Goodwill write-downs of SEK 515 M (0) were charged against
  earlier periods of 2002.

- Sales totaled SEK 5,220 M (9,830) during the first nine months
and SEK 1,475 M (2,745) during the third quarter. For core operations,
sales amounted to SEK 5,190 M (5,425) during the entire period and SEK
  1,475 M (1,565) during the third quarter.

- As a result of continued weak market conditions, additional
cost-cutting measures were initiated during the third quarter. It is
estimated that these measures will affect slightly more than 400
employees. A cost of SEK 125 M for these activities was charged against
third-quarter earnings in the form of an item affecting comparability.

- WM-data is continuing to strengthen its position in the Nordic
market for outsourcing where reliability and documented delivery
capacity are key success factors. Orders received during the quarter
included a new contract with Volvo Car Corporation, worth SEK 250 M over
  a three-year period.

- It is estimated that full-year profit for 2002, before tax, but
after reversal of items affecting comparability and the write-down of
goodwill, will be lower than the corresponding earnings reported for
  2001 (SEK 258 M).
