STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- ReadSoft's (Stockholm:RSOFb) software for automatic invoice handling continues to win new customers. The French assistance company Acta is the latest client to choose INVOICES from ReadSoft. The initial order value is USD 150,000. ACTA organizes emergency car assistance (sending for repairmen, renting replacement vehicles, booking hotels, etc.) for large European motorcar clubs, car manufacturers, car rental companies etc.
Before implementing the ReadSoft solution, supplier invoices were controlled and then manually keyed into Acta's business system. When Acta received a new and unknown invoice the information needed to be keyed into yet another business system. The invoices were archived at the financial department and a copy of the invoice was mailed to Acta's nationwide branches, which also had to key in the very same invoices before final archiving. In conclusion, invoices were manually keyed in three times in a very time-consuming and expensive work process. With ReadSoft's INVOICES solution, invoices will only be handled one time in a highly automated flow where the software captures, interprets and verifies the financial information.
