Federal Securities Protection Services Outlines Merger and Acquisition Strategies in Internet Web Radio Program Hosted by IPOdesktop.com

Los Angeles, California, UNITED STATES

DENVER, Feb. 12, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- IPOdesktop.com, in a continuing series of Internet radio reports featuring Federal Security Protection Services, Inc. (OTCBB:FSPS), today interviewed President and CEO Gary O'Neal about the firm's current merger and acquisition strategies as he continued a series of meetings with various private companies in the Colorado area.

Headquartered in New Orleans, FSPS, Inc. is a secure Internet Protocol ("IP") network services provider and full-service managed security services company, marketing its products and services to other IP-based service providers, systems integrators and the enterprise market.

IPOdesktop.com editor Francis Gaskins interviewed the CEO. It may be heard on Windows Media at http://gaskinsco.com/fsps2.asx or on Real Audio at http://gaskinsco.com/fsps2.ram.

During the conversation, O'Neal indicates that an important part of the company's strategy is identifying companies with a focus on information security, information technology and storage, and offering to them the opportunity to become part of a larger entity.

He points out that many of these companies have made inroads in their marketplaces, have good revenue streams, but lack the ability to grow beyond their present levels.

"We provide the public vehicle for those that are looking to grow together," O'Neal says. "We add value to what they're doing today just as they are bringing value to where we want to be tomorrow.

"We are providing these companies an exit strategy that really is an entrance strategy," O'Neal explains. He notes that the company, while headquartered in the Southeast, is looking for strategic partners in that area, as well as regions west of the Mississippi extending to the West Coast, and also is exploring potential opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

The long-range goal of FSPS is developing custom solutions for secure virtual private networks, e-mail/document security management, digital rights management, content delivery networks, IP-based video products suite and others requiring IP-based network security solutions. IP video services include remote surveillance, video conferencing and video e-mail services to businesses.

In an earlier interview, available on http://gaskinsco.com/fsps.asx or on Real Audio at http://gaskinsco.com/fsps.ram, O'Neal chronicles the company's goal to provide turnkey approaches to multinational clients concerned with providing secure services for their clients. He says network development will concentrate on small to mid-size cities in the U.S. and internationally in countries where technology is less developed.
